Katia Muñoz en 2004 creó y fundó Kurmyskay*Arte y Diseño especializado en lineas de Decoración y arte Utilitario trabajando para diversas tiendas del rubro, trabajando como diseñadora para Shehadi Mirrors NYC. entró en contacto con el vidrio pintado con una tecnica antigua, aplicandola luego para una nueva linea decorativa en muebles modernos siendo finalista con este proyecto en el 2006 del Concurso de Innovación Artesanal en Lima, Perú. Reside desde 2006 en Barcelona , en el 2007 inició el curso de Escultura y Decoración en vidrio en la Fundació Centre del Vidre de Barcelona donde esta continuando su encuentro con el vidrio y profundizando sus conocimientos para seguir expresandose.Ha creado la primera red social para profesionales del Arte y la Artesania en la que cada artista puede mostrar sus diseños de piezas únicas,innovadoras y funcionales.
