En la estación de Seaford hay 14 ventanas de vidrio laminado, que crean una fantasía de color azul brillante llena de mariposas y pájaros, sus vuelos, trazados con puntos de vidrio claro que serpentean, se superponen, y revelan rutas de movimiento, hablando de la migración y el acto de viajar. Los puntos también transforman la luz solar y animan el paisaje. Carson Fox utilizó imágenes de aves y mariposas inspirados en grabados de la época victoriana, una estética donde la vida natural es una profusión exuberante y de enjambres.
Los vidrios fueron creados a partir de un proceso que incluye pintura sobre el vidrio. Las 14 ventanas, ocho en el lado norte de la sala de espera y seis en el sur, se combinan para crear un lugar especial para los viajeros, ya que marca el comienzo de su día en un espacio hecho radiante por la visión del artista.

Laminated and tempered glass
At the Seaford Station 14 laminated glass windows extend the sky, creating a bright blue fantasy filled with butterflies and birds, their flights traced with dots of clear glass that meander, overlap and reveal paths of movement, speaking to migration and the act of travel. The dots also transform the sunlight and enliven the landscape. Artist Carson Fox used bird and butterfly images inspired from Victorian era engravings, an aesthetic where natural life is a lush and swarming profusion.
They were created from a process that includes painting on the glass. The 14 windows, eight on the north side of the waiting room and six on the south, combine to create a special place for commuters as they mark the start of their day in a space made radiant by the artist's vision.
