Einar y Jamex de la Torre









Einar y Jamex de la Torre nacieron en Gadalajara y se mudaron a California en 1972.
Jamex trabajo la técnica lampork desde 1977.Einar comenzó a trabajar con el vidrio en 1980 .En los 80' se dedicaron a los trabajos realizados con flamework.En los 90 empezaron a trabajar exclusivamente como artistas de estudio.
Han expuesto sus obras en numerosos museos. Actualmente trabajan y viven tanto en México como en California (EEUU).
La primer foto publicada es de un trabajo que esta basado en "El día de los muertos" de México.

were born in Gadalajara and moved to California in 1972.
Jamex started lamp-working in 1977, attended California State University at Long Beach under scholarship and received his BFA in Sculpture in 1983.Einar started working with glass in 1980 and also attended California State University at Long Beach.During the 80's they ran a flame-worked glass figure business.In the 90's they began working exclusively as studio artists.
Since,they have exhibited their work internationally and have work in the collection of the Museum og Glass in Tacoma,Tucson Museum of Art,etc.
Einar and Jamex are presently living and working in both Ensenada,Mexico and San Diego,California.
