Louise Olsson comenzó sus estudios de vidrio en 1995 la Escuela de vidrio de Orrefors. El interés en el vidrio y en el mundo exterior a Suecia, llevó a que los últimos 10 años fuern de trabajó y estudió en el extranjero, en particular, Inglaterra, Turquía, Noruega y Escocia.Louise ha sido galardonada con varios premios nacionales e internacionales, siendo el más reciente el North Lands Creative Glass HOT Residency en Lybster, Scotland.

Realiza piezas muy puras, simples pero divertidas y en combinación con el contraste entre la transparencia, la claridad y la opacidad, vidrio de color caracteriza sus diseños.

Forma parte del grupo de Arte Dynamo, que fue fundado en mayo de 2008 y consta de seis artistas del vidrio de Noruega y Suecia.
Mediante la formación de Dynamo,crearon una comunidad de inspiración y creatividad - un foro en el que compartir ideas y desafíar a crear nuevas obras de arte y de evolucionar como artistas.


Louise Olsson
was born and raised in cloudy and began his glass studies in 1995 School of Glass in Orrefors. The interest in glass and the world outside of Sweden led her to the last 10 years worked and studied abroad in particular, England, Turkey, Norway and Scotland. Louise is a graduate of artisans / designers from Glass og Ceramics charcoal on Bornholm, Denmark. For two years it is lived and she worked on Whidbey Island, near where the U.S. and the contact with glass artists, Pilchuck Glass School and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts has played an important role. Louise has been awarded several national and international awards, the most recent being North Lands Creative Glass HOT Residency in Lybster, Scotland.

Form language has carried these influences evolved from a strict, functional aesthetics to a more free, object-oriented expression. The well-made, simple but playful in combination with the contrast between the transparent, clear and opaque, colored glass characterizes her designs.

2006 the Louise Värmland Museum Crafts Association Scholarship on the ground for her well-made and beautiful work in which she promotes the glass as a material and gives the traditional forms its own terms.

Stephen Weir Stained Glass



Memorial window, Rorison Memorial Church, Ashgill. Fused and leaded panel. Most of the pieces of glass making up this window have been fused, this gives great colour and texture and really sparkles when the sun shines through it.

Fused glass window, Glasgow tenement. Four colours of Spectrum glass were used to make this simple but effective fused panel. Two contrasting textured glass were used in the leaded border.

Richard Green





En todos los trabajos de Richard Green, un artista escoses,se observa su inicio en el arte como pintor, pero ahora crea con la técnica del vitraux una nueva manera de trabajar los colores.
